“My journey working with children began after school through a sports apprenticeship, delivering PE lessons in primary schools. I later managed wraparound care and holiday clubs, gaining experience with children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. I developed a particular passion for supporting young people with additional needs and behavioural challenges. After working as a secondary school Teaching Assistant, I was inspired to train as a teacher and now work as a PE Teacher in a specialist SEMH school. These experiences have strengthened my belief that every child deserves to feel valued, build confidence and reach their potential. Supporting children and their families is more than my profession — it is my passion. Alongside teaching, I founded CA Alternative Futures, an inclusive holiday club specialising in supporting children with SEND. We provide a safe, engaging environment where children can make friends, develop life skills and enjoy meaningful experiences. We look forward to supporting your child and helping them create lasting memories.”

“I have worked in education for 16 years. I began my journey doing sports clubs after school travelling around the north west visiting lots of different schools and leading sports activities. I then became a teaching assistant in a school and worked closely with children with diverse needs. Having gained a wealth of experience I began working at a school who supported children with social and emotional needs. I continued this role whilst studying SEND and then qualifying as a teacher. I have now completed 5 years teaching in a specialist school and over the past year have created a business that seeks to change the futures of children as well as support families in need during holidays.”

Her compassionate nature, patience and commitment to making a positive difference ensure that every child receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive.

“My journey with SEN began through my own experience of following a SEN school pathway. This gave me a personal understanding of the challenges some young people face and showed me how important the right support and encouragement can be. While at college, I completed work experience in a SEN setting, where I learned more about supporting children with additional needs in an alternative provision environment. This helped me develop a stronger understanding of communication, behaviour and adapting activities to suit each individual. Alongside my passion for football, I am studying at university and continuing to develop as a coach. My experiences help me create inclusive environments where every child feels welcome. I believe sport can build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging, while creating positive memories.”
